Inter-City Mechanical (1985) Ltd. has built a 40 year tradition of excellence as a locally owned mechanical contractor. We strive to lead Saskatchewan's construction industry through creativity, inovation and dedication to service.
We offer our clients a full range of heating, cooling, ventilation and piping systems to fit their building requirements. We design, build and install mechanical systems using the best people, facilities and technology available in our industry. We deliver this package with competitive pricing and high quality of workmanship.
In September of 1999, we welcomed the partnership of Black & McDonald Limited in our mechanical service business in Saskatchewan, creating ICBM Services Ltd.
Based on the already successful relationship in the service industry in Saskatchewan, Inter-City Mechanical (1985) Ltd. has entered into a partnership with Black & Mc Donald Limited for the construction industry as of September 1, 2004.
Our Facilities
We offer our customers one of the largest shops of its kind in Saskatchewan. At over 14,000 square feet , we have the facilities to handle the largest jobs around. Centrally located in Saskatoon, we can get our work to the job site and working for our customers quickly. We take pride in a complete inventory of the most up to date tools and equipment all under one roof. Our CAD/CAM plasma arc cutting table allows us to cut 30ga.-1" plate to exact specifications, therefore offering our customers a fast and efficient way of getting custom made parts at an affordable price.
Pipe spooling and fabrication procedures all meet rigid ASME specifications. Our registered welding operations meet standards set by the Saskatchewan Environment and Public Safety. Our fabricators work with iron, aluminum, stainless steel, PVC and fiberglass to deliver product called for in your specifications. We have an over head crane that cane lift 5 tons up to 16 feet above the shop floor so we can tackle big jobs with the same convenience and safety as we do the small jobs.

Our highly motivated team is built from the ground up and is our most valuable resource. We choose the best trades people available to take your design from the blueprints to the final product. Our on site crews are experienced and dedicated people who will work with you to see your mechanical work is done on time and on budget. We can draw on the talents of a large team of specialists; foremen, plumbers, pipe fitters, sheet metal workers and mechanical engineering technologists who bring years of experience to our shop floor and your work site. These specialist can respond to your needs using their own know how and can craft reliable, efficient and safe systems for your building using materials ranging from acid resistant glass piping to 3/8" stainless steel plate and high pressure piping.
